The Saturday before Valentine's Day I was shopping in Central Market looking for items to buy with my Foodie coupons. Well, the area where I usually look for bright, yellow plantains was behind a lady with a fancy apron serving chocolate covered nuts,fruit and pretzels. On this day shopping at Central Market just wasn't the same! The isles were filled with tasters,samples, drippings, and beverages from the South of France..all in the name of St. Valentines.
For myself, I did have a wonderful Valentine's day filled with lots of learning about the first ORganic Restaurant in Houston. RugglesGreen is located on West Alabama. The menu is filled with delicious items to eat and drink ( like greencucumber soup) When a restaurant takes the time and money to go GREEN--its really a big deal! There are certain standards that are requirements to become certified. Check it out if your having a BLUE day.
